Roger Brown has a remarkable track record as an investor, entrepreneur, and corporate CEO. Brown has a unique ability to grow value in evolving marketplaces, joining commerce with technology. Growing companies is an innate skill demonstrated throughout his life from an early age. He served in the U.S. Army and the Alabama National Guard. Roger studied at the University of North Alabama, where he received a degree in Finance. His sense to see the value in technology and create a business around it is evident by how he spent his time at UNA. By organizing and managing a sales force to sell cell phones and minutes, he was able to make nearly a million dollars as the technology was just being introduced. At the same time, Roger helped design and develop his first major real estate deal, an 18 hole golf course with 360 homesites. Later, Brown led the purchasing of a clothing manufacturing company, Alstate Apparel, and in only one year, Brown grew the company’s value by over 300 percent. In the two decades since his Alstate Apparel transaction, Brown has been the principal deal maker in the purchases and growth of multiple companies, including, (but not limited too) Crabar, Segway, Sequiam Biometrics, Wired Red, Bentec Medical, EPDI, Government Acquisitions, and Inc. Today he has invested in and manages over 2 million sq./ft of commercial, office, and warehouse real estate.
